Cambridge Who’s Who Names Debra L. Shumar
Entrepreneur of the Year in Consulting

Hilton Head Island, SC, June 5, 2008–Debra L. Shumar, Founder and President of 3P Partners a DL Shumar and Associates Company, has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Consulting. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who’s Who Entrepreneur of the Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership, and service.

Ms. Shumar has 30 years of professional experience, two of which have been in her current position as president of 3P Partners. Aside from overseeing the daily operations of her business, she is responsible for ensuring quality, consulting with clients in cultural transformation, lean management, and supply chain risk management. Realizing the value of her employees and the part they play in the success of her company is one of the more gratifying aspects of her career. She feels especially rewarded to know that they are as passionate about her business as she. Ms. Shumar considers establishing her own company to be her greatest professional accomplishment and attributes her success to her hard work and dedication.

Ms. Shumar received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Malone College and an Associate Degree in Chemistry from the University of Akron. She is a member of the American Society for Quality, the Lean Enterprise Institute and volunteers for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Charles and Ellen Taylor Prostate Cancer Partners of the Lowcountry.
